Roboplan develops turnkey bending systems.
Bending consists of folding metal sheets using industrial machines called bending machines. This process, which is very common in industry, is traditionally carried out manually, as the sheets have to be handled individually to be placed in the bending machine, making this a very slow process.
The aim of automating the bending process is to maximize production and increase efficiency, increase product quality and the cost-benefit ratio of the investment, as well as minimizing energy consumption, raw materials and noise emissions of any kind and improving safety conditions.
In this process, which is carried out fully automatically and in synchronization with the bending machine, the robot handles the sheet from the input pallet with the stacked sheets to the output with the already formed sheet, without the need for operator intervention. It is also possible to use an external axial axis to extend the robot's working area. The Yaskawa product range consists of robots that can handle sheet weights of up to 300 kg, including the gripper.
Also noteworthy here is offline programming, which allows the robot to be simulated and taught in a virtual environment, which can be exported to the equipment, thus minimizing production downtime.
Roboplan has made a name for itself in the industry with its advanced robotic bending systems. Our systems represent a revolution in the way bending processes are carried out, providing precision, efficiency and quality in various applications in the metal industry.
Bending is a fundamental process in the manufacture of metal parts, such as sheet steel, aluminum and other materials. Ensuring precise and consistent angles is essential for the structural and functional integrity of the parts. Previously, this process was often carried out manually, which could result in inconsistencies in part geometry and lengthy production times.
Our industrial robots are programmed to perform bending with millimeter precision, ensuring accurate and uniform angles on all parts. As well as improving the quality of the end product, they also reduce production time and material waste.
Our bending systems reduce the risk of occupational injuries and create a safer working environment for employees.
In addition, robotic bending systems offer greater flexibility compared to traditional methods. Robots can be easily reprogrammed to adapt to different types of parts and production requirements.
Offering customized, high-quality solutions, Roboplan helps you reach new levels of efficiency, precision and competitiveness in the metalworking industry.
